Casey is a talent executive with experience as a Head of People, two-time entrepreneur, and management consultant.
Most recently, Casey was a Partner and the Head of People at West, a venture fund and design studio, where he led the firm through multiple organizational transitions. As part of West’s transformation to a venture studio, Casey oversaw organization design and human resources, led talent acquisition and team building, and supported portfolio companies with executive recruiting across functional disciplines.
Previously, Casey founded and ran Gamut Labs, a venture-backed product design firm building learning and development tools for Fortune 500 companies, high-growth start ups, and top-ranked universities. Gamut’s clients included: Apple, Google, Deloitte, Chevron, Method, Sonos, Riot Games, Stanford University, NYU School of Medicine, and NY Presbyterian Hospital. Gamut was acquired by Epic Tech Solutions in 2015.
Prior to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Casey worked as a strategy consultant at Deloitte Consulting and JPMorgan Chase. While at Deloitte he directed international M&A engagements, led organization redesigns, helped launch the Sustainability Services Practice, and was an early member of The Center for the Edge, Deloitte's Silicon Valley think tank. At JPMorgan Chase he managed community development initiatives and was a core member of its internal strategy group revitalizing Chase’s consumer banking business.
A native New Englander, Casey earned a BA in Law from Amherst College and an MBA from Cornell University, where he was a recipient of the Park Fellowship.
Over the course of his career, Casey has developed a foundational belief in people over process. He has deep founder empathy and understands from experience that even the best ideas require a diverse, talented team all pulling in the same direction.
In another lifetime Casey was a remote wilderness guide and collegiate soccer player. Away from Frame, you can usually find him exploring wild spaces or following the US national teams. With a penchant for conversation, Casey is happiest relaxing by a warm fire with family and friends.
